Nice pictures Ashley--I haven't grown them in a few years--I'm going to definitely put them on my list for next summer. Did you grow yours from seed? I found them pretty easy to do from seed.

i hope to someday be as advanced as you....growing from seeds is taking it to the next level for a rookie like myself! i saw pictures of them and put them on my must have list. then i just happened to run across them at a local nursery and the rest is history. so should i start to look for seeds to save?

Oh wow, Ashley
I've never seen them before, what's the story with their growth habit, are they like the christmas ones or do they need a winter.

Do you by any chance have any seeds to swap or trade or SASBE?

Ashley--they are really, really easy from seed and good plants if you have a big area you need to fill and just haven't made your mind up what to put there permantly--lol.

Lavina--seeds are pretty widely available at place's like Park's, Burpee's, etc. What's nice is the seedlings are pretty large and grow fast once germinated.

You want to sow directly into soil, they do like to be transplanted. I planted several this year and they are looking very good. The like lots of sun, so fo few mine are not as pretty as they could be as they are shaded by larger plants. Look for "tri-color" it's a beauty.

They do transplant easily for me.
