My althea has a problem that I think is thrips. How can I make sure that's what's wrong and what will stop them? All the blooms are being chewed/eaten on before they open. Most are not opeing at all. I've only had four or five blooms that acutally opened all summer. It's usually covered in blooms for a period of months. Anyone else have this problem and know how to solve it? What exactly does a thrip look like? Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Oh, I have to say y'all are the best gardening buddies bunch I've ever found! There's always someone who knows the answer.
Help! Althea problem.
I think that this will probably give you more information than what you need, but it has pretty much everything you want to know about thrips. lol
