It gets full sun from 11 AM to about 2 PM. roots protected. It has grown this season to approx. 10 ft. very attractive plant. It is sharing the tripod trellis with a passion flower and morning glory to the left of the window.

How long does it bloom?

Mind blooms from early summer, till frost, right now it's in its third season and is going everywhere, totally filling the trillis its one, and growing onto the deck railing. I am very pleased with its show.
