I have a few brugs that I suspect have beginning stages of root rot. By that I mean they seem to wilt a little too quickly, but look healthy otherwise. Last year I gave all of my brugs a treatment of hydrogen peroxide, but I can't remember how much to add to a gallon of water or how often to do it. How much do I add?
Emily
How much hydrogen peroxide do I add?
The proportions I go by are simple. With regular strength (3%) over-the-counter, I add 3-4 ounces to a gallon of water. With 35%, I add 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. I think that equals 16 or 17 drops. I do it every time I water the plants and they've not shown any negative effects from it. I definitely had a major reduction in those little gnats, too. H2O2 is a good thing!

I should write that down Barb for I always forget and just add whatever. I am so bad like that.
Hi Emily! Long time no see. I hope you are well and just busy being a newly wed. I hope your brugs recover fast for you! So happy to see you again!
Thank you Barb. I'm sure this will help my poor bruggies.
