I got this one from Emerson at the sale. It's blooming for the first time on this cutting and the other blooms should be large after this plant grows up. :-)

My Valentine
Beautiful!!!
Awesome!
Very nice Tami how does she smell?
Tami my Valentine is a wonderful plumie....I think someplace along the way part of its heritage is Daisy Wilcox which makes it rich in size and history...A special one to be sure...Bob
Thankyou Everybody. It smells to me like Roses and then a hint of Cinnamon.
Tami
Oh dear, another one on my want list. Cinnamon rose is one of my favorite scents.
Ahh nice combo smell looks good too..
Very nice color and with that scent it is a sure winner
Is there an end to a want list? We have over 100 we plant in the ground every Spring and Dig up every November. That should deter buying more. But does that help? NO! I am still buying more. I think there is no help for me and my husband is an enabler.
Tami
I believe My Valentine is a seedling of Pink Pansy
Malestorm,
I would believe so. I have a plant that I think might be a seedling of Pink Pansy as well. Just no way of knowing. It was given me by a friend and the guy that gave it to him was into seeds but he had cuttings too. It looks close to Pink Pansy to me though. This thing blooms like crazy and the blooms last a long time.
Tami
tami i so admire you folks that dig up and replant....an amazing devotion and discipline
Clare,
Very pretty bloom. I had a few of my seedlings bloom but nothing that looks all that wonderful yet. I have a new one about to open though. And I'm trying my hand at pollinating so we will see. I can't believe that all the Moragnes cane from the same cross. That's so cool.
Bob,
Allen bought the lot next door so we would have more room to plant also. We are just nuts. I herniated two disks last year in November digging by myself because Allen had to work late and I needed to get them in. Well the disks had been irritated from doing tile work but the digging pushed them over the edge, or out the edge anyway. :-)
Tami
I agree with Bob. I really admire all gardeners that have to dig up their plants each November and plant them again in the spring. It is a labor of love, but it is some serious labor! Gosh, I'm sorry to hear about those herniated disks. Ouch!
Thanks, Tami. I've just had three seedlings bloom so far out of my 40. One looked very average, but they say that seedlings can change over the course of the first few years so I will hang on to them and see. Please post your new seedling when it opens. Here is my other seedling that has promise.
Clare, Wow I like that one. Very pretty.
Tami
Thanks, Tami! I'll be sure to post new seedling flowers too as they bloom. This is the exciting part of seedlings when they finally get around to blooming three years later!
