Have blue fescua, campanula, yellow yarrow, shasta daisy, hosta 'Undulata Univittata', and hosta 'Undulata Albomarginata'.
Wanted: Red or purple Verbena hardy to zone 8
Can you post a picture of the hosta 'Undulata Univittata'?
I didn't see it in the plant files.
I have lots of hardy purple verbena.
Louise
Great! How much of it do you have to trade? Because I
have lots and lots of purple verbena. How much verbena
for each plant, etc.?
Louise
I'll fill a flat rate box if you will. That should be a handfull of good sized plants. I can send on Monday to give me time to dig and package. Does that work for you?
Yes, it will be very nice. It would be alright to include both kinds if possible. I have the other kind but could use possibly a bit more, but most of the 'Undulata Univittata'.
I will send the flat rate box full of purple verbena for the box of hosta and will mail it on Monday with delivery confirmation(pkgs. arrive sooner with it than without!).
Thanks so much for posting the trade.
Louise
p.s. I could even send two boxes for two boxes if you
need that much.
:) Thanks Texas. I think one box will do me.
Yes, I'm in the exchange. I bit of your oxalis would be great. I love shamrocks! :)
Your package was mailed at the post office at noon today.
The rooted pieces were so long that I decided to fill one of
the long postal boxes instead of the flat rate. It held more
than the flat rate box but I didn't think the length needed to
be cut. If there is more than you need, feel free to trade with it. Each joint you bury will root fast too.
I included the oxalis also. It will multiply rather quickly and make a nice showing if you plant it all together
in a pot or in one place in the bed.
I sent it with delivery confirmation and you should get it either Wednesday or Thursday.
I hope the hot weather we're having won't make a problem.
Please let me knowhey are when you get them.
Louise
Thanks Louise,
Your box is going out today. I had to bend one of the larger hosta to fit, but it should be fine. I only had this box at home. I added a bellis rose and a nigella seedling. They are pretty flowering plants that like some sun.
