My niece was over and we were out puttering around the garden/greenhouse yesterday, and as usual, the dogs were with us. Lacy lying in the sun, Lucky lying in the shade, and Rocco sniffing around the pea patch.
Hilary was picking the peas, and Rocco was 'helping', eating the peas from the vines!
As we were laughing over that, Rocco became very interested in the squash bed right next to the pea patch. A frantic 'scurrying' (THAT was funny, an 80 lb dog, scurrying) and ...... It had a rodent tail. Rocco grabbed the rodent and took it outside of the garden to eat it. It was down the hatch before I could get to him.
Not our idea of lunch, but to each his own. Then he went back to the pea patch, for dessert.....
I did wonder what was eating the radishes.....
