After searching all over these brugs I found some had tiny holes then I discovered this black bug, it is very, very, tiney, has long attena. looks like a crab.

It could be a flea beetle. They seem to arrive, do some damage, and leave. I usually spray for them on my potatoes using Sevin.

I am sure that is what is eating the blooms on GL, I am so mad as her blooms are always so lovely.

Doris, look up in your blooms too. If you happen to have cucumber beetles, they seem to go as far up in the bloom as they can. Maybe for midday protection. They also like to eat on the blooms just as they are opening. Nasty little critters. They can ruin the skirt of a brug in no time.

I agree with the flea beetle, got 'em on tons of stuff right now, never had them before :-(

Oh Doris, you are having such a hard time! I am so sorry!

no beetles thank goodness, all I found were those nasty little black bugs, I am hoping this drenching rain we are having will wash them all off.
