A few sweets from Allison

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I got a package in the mail today and I'm so happy. They were some plants that I have wanted for so long and finally got. The one in the middle is of course Aussie Alice. The one on the left is one that I have wanted forever. It is Annabelle Southern Belle. The one on the right is a trailer called Angel Tears. The one in the front did not have a label on it. So I need a name for it. She also sent me a few Cerus leaves and I'm so excited about putting them down to make babies from them.

This is not the greatest photo in the world cause I just sort of through them together for a photo but I will take more photos later when I'm not so busy. We are down to getting the little stuff from the old house and we really want to be out of there and in our new home. But I will take more photos and post them later.

Okay Allison. Now I remember us talking about it. BTW, did I ever send you the money for shipping? I really have forgotten and if I didn't I need to today. Let me know if I did or not please.

Sorry for interrupting your thread, Jesse. You will love these plants.

Allison, I noticed that A. Cygnet has side shoots on the plant above. How long does that take? Mine doesn't have any as yet.

Side shoots ?? I don't understand.. Didn't you pinch your's or somthing ? If not pinched it should just keep growing and growing ! Jesse's have buds...
Then they grow stolons like spder plants and epscias some other plants do also. These you take off and pot up one in the middle of a pot to grow a new plant !

nanna - I find that alsobia can take a bit of time to settle into a new pot, but once they take off, they go racing ahead.

Allison, should I repot the alsobia or is it fine like it is now?

I would put a little soil around the base and make it snug so it can sit up in the middle. Then put under lights ! It will be blooming soon it has buds and they grow fast !
