Lucky you!! One of the very first butterflies I saw in my garden was a Viceroy. It was before I had my digital camera so I had to wait for my film to come back to learn that it wasn't a Monarch. I've never seen one since. I'll be watching my Monarch's and Queen's more closely now, just in case! :)

So very similar it's difficult to tell , some of my pictures I am still not sure of.
That was the first one I had seen that I was able to positively identify and she just seemed to set there and pose for me, I got several perfect shots
