question about bulbs

I purchased gladiolus bulbs and need to know do I plant now or wait until fall to plant. This is the first time I purchased bulbs and thought I would try them out, but realized that I know nothing about them.

You better plant them immediately; if planted in fall up here they'll fall prey to the cold and die.
