Hi, Gardeners,
I'm always finding a plant I need to know more about. I bought some "Mouse Ears", a variant of "Lamb's Ears" I was told, three years ago. I transplanted them around my garden and this one ended up in a new spot next to a fence. Its leaves are textured like "Lamb's Ears" but are longer. This year the plant has pyramided to about five feet with an additional two -three foot blooming spire with yellow flowers. More blooms are now appearing.
Can anyone of you identify this plant?
The ID area has identified the plant as verbascum, an invasive.I do not need that.
Love this site!
Thanks, Terranova22

Unknown but Amazing Plant!
Hi, terranova! Post this again in the Identification forum:http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/plantid/all/
Chances are REALLY good that you will get a reply from someone who knows what it is (as opposed to me!! LOL) very quickly.

I enjoy verbascum. I don't find it invasive like 'creeping jenny' type plants. Since they are biennial, they should be easy to control but perhaps they are more of a problem in your zone.
