neoregelia SuperFireball

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I just bought a neoregelia SuperFireball at McKee Gardens.
I know some fireballs like full sun and some shade.
It seems I cannot find the cultural requirements for this particular plant.
Does anyone know?

Yeah...that is the only one I found also Allison :(
And I have several fireballs..some say full sun some say 50% shade.
I have most of mine in 50% shade but I do have some bromeliads that really DO like the full sun :)

I did find a cultural page that says the harder (spiney) Broms prefer full sun while the others that are smooth and less rigid like shade.

There are two broms I have seen so far that seem to love out hot sun..One is the pink pinapple on and the other is a bright red. They both seem very happy at McKee where they have them right out in the hot sun :)
