Out of 5 different liners I got from the coop last year Jamilou was the only one that didn't bloom.
It was the smallest of the liners and has been a very slow grower.
My camera doesn't do justice to the beautiful dark center and colors of the flower.
Jamilou is finally blooming!
just beautiful Terry. I really love hibiscus
Thanks Donna. They can become just as addicting as Brugs. LOL
Some one say hibiscus??? where are they............................................ I got another Snowfire today at the Woodsmith store..they were in 3 gal pots, normallt $30 on sale for $15..................I walked by the plant and it said..BUY MEEEEEE! NOW!!!! LOL
ROFL!!!!!!!!!
Yes Terry they have become just as addicting as brugs as well as the erythrina trees I have been collecting(growing from seed). Herbacea, Bidwillii and Crista-gallii are hardy here. Coralloides, and Caffra are supposed to be but the Indica, Variegata, Amazonica, and the 2 Sandwicenese(1 orange sherbert colored and the other orange with green throat) are not. I had 4 other varieties but the seed rotted or just weren't anygood. I had better quit getting things I have to over winter. DH still says he is not build me a GH here and keeps asking where I plan on putting my plants. He's gonna find out come winter when he has to park his car outside of the garage lol
Terry they both look great. I love the colors of Jamilou. Opening Act is a real eye opener.
