Jamilou is finally blooming!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Out of 5 different liners I got from the coop last year Jamilou was the only one that didn't bloom.
It was the smallest of the liners and has been a very slow grower.
My camera doesn't do justice to the beautiful dark center and colors of the flower.

ROFL!!!!!!!!!
Yes Terry they have become just as addicting as brugs as well as the erythrina trees I have been collecting(growing from seed). Herbacea, Bidwillii and Crista-gallii are hardy here. Coralloides, and Caffra are supposed to be but the Indica, Variegata, Amazonica, and the 2 Sandwicenese(1 orange sherbert colored and the other orange with green throat) are not. I had 4 other varieties but the seed rotted or just weren't anygood. I had better quit getting things I have to over winter. DH still says he is not build me a GH here and keeps asking where I plan on putting my plants. He's gonna find out come winter when he has to park his car outside of the garage lol

Terry they both look great. I love the colors of Jamilou. Opening Act is a real eye opener.
