Oh yes, the famous flip-calla. I like that.

Notice how the spathes on most callas mimick the shape of the leaves? It must be to do with their desire to be both. It does have that lovely little flippy swirl on the tube, almost as if it's throwing it's head back and flipping it's locks, saying to the leaf "I'm better than you!"

Yes I'd say so, look at the pic of Cameo, the last one with the colour flush. Notice the curves of the leaves mimicking the curves of the spathe?

Quite right. Neat pattern of harmony there. It is totally understandable, as a leaf is only a hormone away from a flower.
