Have walking onions

Carson City, NV(Zone 6b)

I have about 70 clusters of small to medium sized bulb clusters of walking onion. Some are already sprouting.

I'm interested in drought tolerant perennials for zone 6 (just no more Gailardias), flowering vines, unusual herbs, raspberries, seeds or lots of other things. I'm willing to send these now and wait for a perennial that would be happier if shipped this fall/winter when it's dormant. I just can't trade for shade-lovers because our new house gets no shade.

I need to send these trades by noon Monday because I won't have another chance to go to the post office for a few weeks.

Thanks for trading!

Is it edible?

Carson City, NV(Zone 6b)

Oh yes, the tops are like scallions when young (they started growing through the snow in February here) and the bulbs are edible but not very large. The flower stalks are pretty tough and the top-bulbs are dry and hard until they're planted. Here's the PlantFiles entry:

That is OK for me. I have some mexican sage for trade. would you like it?

wow, that's a pretty plant (in the plantfiles) but I don't think it will survive my winters. Is it easy to grow from seed or cuttings? I can bring in cuttings but full sized plants make things a little crowded in the house.

They grow easily by cuttings. Mine are still young so I do not know if they grow very tall.

Well, I'm off to the post office. If anyone else wants to trade, I still have plenty of bulbs and they'll keep for a couple of months.

Hi,
I'm interested in some of your onions, but no hurry! I'm not planning on going to the PO for a while, either. :-)
I have Coronation Gold yarrow which is xeric and will do well in your zone.
