Carol
Yes I do and that a nice one.
Now I have new genus to learn about. Thanks : )
From Wikipedia
Stephanotis is a genus of plants belonging to the family Asclepiadaceae. S floribunda is known as Madagascar jasmine. Members of the genus are widely cultivated as garden plants.
This flower is a symbol for marital happiness. Due to this meaning, these trumpet-shape blossoms are traditional bridal flowers. They are very fragrant and in season year-round.
That is special Kyle. I may have to invest in one of those myself. Your plant already has lots of buds too.
will see how hard it is to keep going.
Very nice, Kyle!

We get a magazine called 'The Week' and this week they have an article about 'TES' total eclipse of the sun enthusiasts , people who chase them every 18 months or so to all corners of the world.
If your interested let me know.
Neil
Neil, not an eclipse chaser myself, just used that name because all other plant names were in use !! LOL Thanks for sharing the info though. :-)
lol I did that once-flew to Peru to see the total eclipse....it was really cool, something that I will always remember. Going to Peru (Lima and Taccna) was an experience of its own...the shining path people were active and there were all these kids with machine guns guarding the entrances to the stores.

What a trip, and what a trip. We were there in April, amazing orchids to be found, stayed up at Machu Picchu for a couple of nights. Shining path are well gone but often talked about. I heve yet to see an eclipse.
I wanted to go to Machu Picchu because that is what it looked like where i lived way up a valley on Maui....but the total eclipse was down south near the chilean border where it was hot and dry. We stayed at a country club there in Taccna ( weird huh?) and there were kids there guarding the edges of the property and I couldn't figure out if they were there to keep us in or the other people out!
If you ever get the chance you should do it, it will always stay with you, hard to describe the experience. Its like the 2 hr helicopter ride I took on Maui once-nothing like it, so exahilerating (sp) and you always remember it.
Very nice!
Are they fragrant?
I don't know...will find out tomorrow..
