insignis Coral

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

More and more I'm seeing this brug on ebay. What I've seen so far does not look like the true Coral. Coral is the only older USA pink that has serrate leaves. Flower construction is much like Isabella but the coral pink color goes further up the corolla. Just want everyone to be aware if they ever purchase this brug. No serrate leaves = not real thing.

Thanks of the heads up Vicki.

It is "buyer beware" when purchasing brugs on ebay.

So many wrong ID's and some are just untested seedling that had a name slapped on them as soon as they bloomed.

A lot of these sellers are uninformed and do not even realize that they are using the name of a properly trialed and named brug.

Know your seller is about the best thing I can say.

Look at the big mess with the wrong brugs being sold as b. Arborea , for one , that will prolly never go away.

Thanks again

Thanks for the info. I took cuttings from a brug at old motel in Florida. My mom had spotted it and thought it was a peach color. It will be interesting to see what blooms are. I agree with know the seller. ... Elaine
