Just got another lovely fantastic order from the QP (like that new title, Carol?)
Anyway, they are scattered all over now resting in amongst my others so I can't get any pics yet. However she managed again to send me a blooming one. The H sairiae has buds, and the little heuscheliana has flowers all over it. It really DOES smell like butterscotch. It is sooo nice to be able to get one big enough to actually have blooms on it. I have had 2 little cuttings growing it seems like forever, and at the rate they are growing...it will be 3 years before I ever see a bloom on them. Ha. Will try to get some pics later. I am so busy tending to baby hoyas all over the place. Ha. I feel like a Hoya Momma these days!

Yes, she has been referred to in other places as our leader, and "Queen of the Hoyas". Since we already call her the hoya "Pimpette"...I guess the name "Queen Pimpette" is now a fitting title. LOL

My post (which was in between Carol's last two posts) was removed by whomever runs this site because they deemed two words I used to be derogatory - I argue that they are not! However, the software program that runs this site eliminates words that include partial-words of stuff someone has deemed unacceptable - fair enough - it's not my website, so it's their right.
I was also advised we are not to use the "P" word that we have been using when referring to Carol (sorry, Awanda - they don't want us to use your fun word anymore).
Thusly, I propose we use the word we are reclaiming as a positive moniker - "Queen" - rather than the "P" word, so that we don't all have to suffer a buzzkill email from "management."

There is a saying on an English (as in UK) Scrabble Forum I play on with a NZ friend "May the Q be with U". Doncha love it?
We are losing patience with this forum. I think the next time a member comes to me telling me they are leaving the site because of a few trouble makers here, I'm going to have no choice but to start banning people.

FYI Dave, I joined this web site BECAUSE of this forum and left another site because of the know-it-all hoya"experts" and administration. This site is fun AND educational and I love it and have MANY hoya and epi addicts moving from the last site to this one because of it.

There are two names that keep coming up in reports to us and it's disappointing to hear people tell us they are now renewing because of the actions of two people. I don't know much about the politics in this forum and therefore am at something of a loss.
Let's keep the forum clean and happy and all will be well.
