Yeah....aint it great when ya get your first blooms on something? That bright window is making them happy must be. I love your little trellises too. Makes them look so fancy. H. lacunosa was the first one of the more unusual hoyas that bloomed for me too. A little darling she is. ...and smells oh so nice.

I was trying to figure out what the different smell in my office was, then I saw the blooms! LOL My funny little trellises are wire flower bed edging, cut into sections and bent with pliers to fit into the 5" pots. Each section was something like 99 cents at Walmart. Queen of Cheapopolis here! But hey, what the heck, they work just fine. :~D

Hey K...lacunosa is one of the best smells I know.

Planted your seeds...thanks again. I will be the first to have Yellow Cobra Lilly...!!!

Congrats, K. Don't they smell fabulous?

Eh, unfortunately Carol, those seeds weren't from a yellow one. Here is the plant they came from (this pic taken over a year ago). I hope you don't mind. :~
(Darn you! Now I need to find a yellow one, I like that even better!!!)

My whole office is smelly-goodness! The flowers are so dainty and lovely! I'm glad it bloomed, now.......... I have about 8 others in my office window that need to follow suit! Hopefully they're getting a wiff of all those "flowering hormones" in the air and they will do something about it! LOL

If I had to choose just one hoya to take with me on a deserted island, it would be my lacunosa...it is so generous with blooms and fragrance and such an easy bloomer for me.
Course, if I could move to a non-deserted island ( like somewhere in Hawaii), I'd like to have Queen Ps collection!

Hi Nightbloomer!
I'm around, just been working my fingers to the bone, you know how it is. I pop in and check on things but sometimes don't have time to comment! :~)
