I was sitting by my little pond last night and noticed that all of tadpole babies were gone. Once they got their back legs it seemed likes just a day or two that they had all turned into frogs and left. The million frog march has begun!! In the next few days I expect I will see hundreds of little jumping things everywhere, but I will still miss my tadpoles. :(
The exodus has begun.......
I've had baby frogs everywhere for several weeks now. The frogs were singing again earlier this week during the heavy rains we got but I haven't noticed anymore tadpoles.

They will go in cycles....and unfortunately, half of the baby hoppers will get picked off by something higher in the food chain. We had a rain last night, and voila(!) ...a zillions strands of toad eggs this morning.
