I bought a rooted cutting of Miss Anna Brug last fall. I put it in the ground in early spring. It gets full sun and plenty of water. I've fertilized it twice with Ozmacote. It's currently six feet tall, very full and well branched but it's not had even one bloom. I've grown other varieties before without a problem. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong or what would cause a brug to not bloom? Are there male and female plants? I appreciate any answers anyone may have.
Brug "Miss Anna"
It might help to feed it more. I give mine feedings, twice a week, with a water soluable fertilizer. Osmocote doesn't release enough food at one time to help much. Just have patience.....with good food, we all do better, including our flowers. LOL!
Shirley so very true.. its sure lovely..
I got one about 2 months ago and it bloomed a couple of weeks ago and is still flushing. Here's the bloom dragging the ground. About 18 inches tall then and maybe 2 feet now. I think I did give it one feeding of Messenger and maybe a couple Miracle Grow spraying.
