I was wondering why this plant in the photo looks so different than the other photo you have posted in PFs.
Clearly two different plants I'd say. This one looks like Crassula perfoliata subsp. falcata

They do look different, don't they Sue. But I think this one above is definitely an aloe too. Maybe it is under severe stress?
Yeah, I thought aloe too but the shape is so different from the other images. PalmBob, where for art thou?
That is the young form.When it becomes older it starts to be similar to the other (my experience).
