Water Lilies..

Emmaus, PA(Zone 6a)

Im thinking of picking up another water lily, and would like to know which ones have the thickest or strongest pads. Ive noticed that some plants' pads are more delicate then others. And that there is a size difference. Im looking for larger pads, that arent too delicate to be torn up at times, by my rambunctious koi.
Any advice is appreciated.
PS, flowers are secondary... love the lily pad look in pond water. :)

Wow, those ARE large lily pads. Terri - I just had to say hello because your post brought back some major memories for me. I went to a small College in Coopersburg (college shut down the year I graduated in 1992 but I have lots of fond memories walking around town). It seemed like such a tiny little town 14 years ago - I can't believe they have a water garden store!!

Happy ponding!
