I found this plant about 20 years ago in a school yard in San Diego, and in an alley there. Have never seen it since it looks like white wings, so at the time I nicknamed it "Pink White wings" or "Strawberry White wings" I would love to get the real name for it.It may have been a seedling or a sport originally.Grows very fast and blooms even in winter.the original bush was about 10 ft across and about 6 ft tall. Can be trained into a tree in just a few months.......soooooo if anyone can get me a name I would appreciate it. Does not set seed. The shape of the flower reminds me of a species type. Boy do I ramble or what??? LOL
Any body know my name???????????????
This is another unknown, I call this one Cerise for a lack of it's real name.Dark green leaves, very bushy and blooms yearound.staminal column is the same as the first plant. Notice the darker colored flowers, both cultivars have angled flowers, seem to always point out and not up.Makes them better for street trees in pots.this one also grows very fast .
I don't know but sure is pretty
Both are "beauties".
Thanks for sharing.
