Beautiful................Mine really does not have much pink in its leaves. Wondering why some are more pink than others? Any ideas?

Mine didn't have any last year, so this year i moved to the east side of my porch, it gets full morning sun ..Maybe this could be it?

Thanks Jaimee I will give that a try! :)

Mine's has lots of red on it too, and it gets full morning sun, so I agree.

Jaimee, there's a line of thought that says to remove the all green leaves from Krimson Princess, to prevent it from reverting. Do you believe that?

Christine- you know one whole plant in the pot is solid green, i have thought about pulling that one out, planting it seperate and seeing how it and momma plant does. Do you remove them? She is so healty and happy right now i hate to disturb her. I absolutely love the red/pink, so i would hate to loose that too...

Anyone elses thoughts on that??

Jaimee your plant is very pretty, I like when the leaves turn pink. Your plant looks very healthy and shinny too. I snip my green stems out, but I know some people leave them in.

One nursery I get common hoyas from has them MIXED in the pot. It is just labled "hoya mix". I usually find a regular carnosa, and a couple of the variegated types (Krimson Queen & Princess). Once in a while there is a minibell or something with very long leaves to it in there, (never bloomed so I have no clue). I used to think it was reverting until, like you I discovered that the one whole plant in there was the regular one with no variegation. I asked the nursery why they did that & they said it just came from the grower that way.

That may be this case too, it is one entire plant, its removed now, we will see if it spits out some with color or not! ..an experiment who hoo! hahaha
