Don't You Just Love This Forum?

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I love the AV forum. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I haven't seen any bickering. You can be as nuts as you like and feel comfortable. We are kinda like a big family or even better than some families. You guys are fun and like to talk about you plants.

I couldn't agree more! It just feels like home being here, doesn't it? Noone gets mad if we start chatting in a thread, and we actually answer one another's questions, which is rare in some other forums. I love it here!

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

I agree!
( I still feel like a visitor as I'm not familiar with a lot of you, but eager to get to know you all better!)

I don't post much, but like to respond and hear what news/info y'all have to share!

A lot of pleasant persons here.

I am glad someone else feels like me. I can't stay long or the meatloaf will burn. That would not be a good thing.

Oh Nan, you're not a visitor! You're one of the family, too! Just jump right in more often - the more the merrier! :o)

Burned meatloaf is certainly not a good thing! Stinks, too...not that I know from experience or anything...ROFL ;o)

Nan - you feel like a visitor? Please stop kidding.....

I don't spend all that much time here and I definitely see you as family. lol.

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Yep this is really neat place to spend time with some really wonderful folks! It really feels like home to me & I love that at least I can come here & I still have friends, things are in the same place as the last time I was here, you know that familiar feeling??. Since the move I don't really know many people here & at least some of you guys know me.

Love ya All,
MsC

that's a spooky image. I read recently that the average person eats 8 spiders in a lifetime while sleeping. yuck.
(nothing personal, lol)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Well, first of all~ Big Yuk on the spider eating. Much worse picture, Ki!! ~LOL

And I agree about this forum...there are others I"ve read where there is so much bickering and "I know more than you" going on, it's sad. Everyone here made me so comfortable from the first moment, when I was trying to id a noid av on the id forum and RainGazer told me to come over here.

Never been the same since~lol~ I love it!

Lots of fun and lots of good information but wouldn't mind not knowing about the spider thing, that's too much info for me. But I am betting that a lot of us aren't getting enough protein in our diets so maybe it's a good thing.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Ditto :))
Except I stretch out in bed and eat dust balls off the ceiling fan. lol

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

I love this forum too! It really is a big family! Unlike some places you can ask any question and not feel like a dummy.

Well... a very famous store in england sells beatles, grasshoppers and spiders dipped in chocolate. Apparently, they are delicious.

Next time I am there, I will bring a box so we can all share. :o))

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

OK...I just 'butted in' to the middle of the forum sofa, and feel that warm fuzzy 'group hug' coming, LOL!!
That's better'n a warm fuzzy spider anyday!
(No offense, spider..pseudo-spiders are fine...real spiders I can do without!)

Well, thanks for that feel-good-feeling!
I think I just shed my visitorship.

I also think I'll start wearing a stocking over my head at night to keep out the spiders and the dustballs...........

LOL!!!

Too true!! The family thing, not the spider thing......You all have definitely embraced me as one of your own, even though I am clueless!! I really look forward to my time on the computer with you. You have already taught me so much and made me feel so very welcome.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

They only good spider is a dead spider unless of course you are talking about Spider07. She is a very good spider.

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh no, no, no...spiders are good, they eat the bad bugs! We like spiders.

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

I LOVE this forum :) This is one of the friendliest on DG I believe.

I owe people plants and DMails, I haven't forgotten, I promise.... yesterday I had the twins from 8 AM until 2 AM. WOW WHat a day LOL

On Wednesday spent the entire day in the emergency room..... my youngest DD got bitten by a wild raccoon (not one of ours) and had to go get checked out and start on the rabies shots! No fun at all for anyone involved.

I plan to ship everything I owe people Monday, hope that is ok with all

I totally agree with the rest of you. I have said many times that you guys were my family. I enjoy logging on everyday to see what the rest of you have said. I love the conversations that we all have and I love the fact that no one argues. We are all equal and no one is better than anyone else. You all have made me feel so at home here and I am so glad that I found you. Thanks for being so a great group of people. I love you all.
