Hoya cv. Iris Marie

Walhalla, SC(Zone 7a)

Just wanted to see if anyone could provide some info about this one. The leaves on mine seem to be almost delicate, not like my other hoyas. It appears to be a water lover, is that true? Is this one a fast or slow grower?? Anyone have one that is blooming??

Thanks!

I have a small one. I treat it like my multiflora and it seems happy. I have no idea if that is the right answer :) So hopefully the experts will chime in

I have one (it used to be called H. pazie or something like that). I got mine from Kartuz nursery. It is closly related to H. cembra (used to be known as odorata). They sort of just grow upright untill they get quite long & then they fall over unless you stake them or trellis. The new leaves are a pretty bronze color in good light. They do love very good light too., even some morning or light sun. Mine has not bloomed yet either, but it is young and Carol says her's does all the time.

Jaimee, mine is a total water hog! Like Lorry I treat it like my multiflora. Watch out for mealies - I notice if I am not vigilant in watering, it becomes a mealie club-house.

It loves crowded roots, bright indirect light, warmth and WATER!!! Mine blooms all year long but then I am lucky to live here and I admit it. It is a good bloomer once it gets going!!!
