First bloom on Gator Pride

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

I had lost the label so as soon as it bloomed I was able to confirm that it's Gator Pride.

Wow, Sue, that's amazing. What a changeable bloom.

Beautiful, Sue! How long did you have it before it got around to blooming? I've had one about 3 months now and it's barely grown, and no buds to be seen.

But boy, this one's worth waiting for!

I have no idea, can't find my notes but I sprayed them all with Messenger and noticed new growth and recently also added a hibiscus fertilizer.

I use the Hibiscus fertilizer, but when I asked my local pro about Messenger (having seen someone raving about it on a board somewhere), and you would've thought I was asking to do some back room drug deal. I wonder if it's illegal here?

What's the deal with Messenger? Is it like a bloom booster, or more like Superthrive?
