My wife and I were considering growing grapes in our garden. The grapes are not for wine making, but rather eating. Anyone with any experience in zone 7b or near ... suggestions are welcome!

Grapes in Texas
We are growing Flame and Fantasy, but in the second year, we have only vigorous vines. Hopefully there will be fruit next year if weather conditions permit.

My ex-inlaws used to grow grapes and muscadines in zone 9b; it took a while for them to take, but they did well in full sun until the afternoon.
