Hi ladies, need ID

Cincinnati, OH

I know it is not open yet, but I wondered if anyone could ID this one. It is the one that I have been battling mealy bug infestation for about a month. I think, once again, that I have gotten rid of them. Well see. It has white flowers and purple edges. What kind of leaves are these, too?
I am going to post another pic . This is one of the 2 that survived me. LOL

Pretty plants, Kelly!

There are over 30,000 named AVs, about half of which are registered and/or in the First Class database. Many of the AVs that you see in stores with no names are grown from seed and are not named varieties. Even if you are sure you have a registered variety, it is almost impossible to ID it since so many factors come into play.... color descriptions are pretty subjective, photos don't always represent accurate color, the same plant may vary in form and color from one bloom to the next, etc.

A common term for plants without names or with unknown names is "noid" = "no ID." I often make up my own names for my noids or refer to them as "a such & such lookalike," but when I trade plants or leaves I make sure to include "noid" in the name I write on them so there is no confusion.

Let me add -- there is nothing wrong with a "noid" AV! Some of my favorites are noids, and even when I resolve to add only named AVs to my collection, every so often an irresistable noid will jump into my cart!

Kelly you can join me if it turns out to be a Noid~ I'm a Noid nutt!
I could careless if they are registered or not, I have a pretty good selection of both Reg & Noids Av's... mealies are so hard to get rid of .
You've done a great job, it looks very healthy!

Be sur e& post the bloom pics. I'd love to see them.
