HELP!

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

I spent most of yesterday and today repotting and putting down leaves. I have a pile of leaves (labeled) that need to be put down, when I realized I was out of perlite!

I have been mixing 2/3 Miracle Grow potting soil with 1/3 perlite. I have some vermiculite (sp?) AV potting soil, and peat moss. Can I make a decent mix out of any of those? Or what should I do? I probably won't be able top get any perlite until Wednesday :((

Any advice is appreciated!!

You can use what you have. Vermiculte should be fine. or You can soak the tips in water til Wednesday when you get more perlite.

thanks MsC and Bob!

My son wrote the short thanks response for me earlier! I really appreciate it! I mixed a cup of vermiculite, a cup of the MG, with the mix I still had... so we will see.

Vermiculite is fine I use to use it . I did find it keep things more moist so you will want to watch your watering.
