Birthdays are not big occasions with me - I have a party every 10th year!
But nevertheless I always give myself a birthday present and this year - not really needing any 'stuff' I have............a house cleaner! She starts today and every two weeks after!
I have never been a particularly diligent housecleaner( my brother is the one who shines there!) reading a book or gardening or walking the dogs always took/takes precedence and although I thought about it when I was working I always said I couldn't justify it because I was not incapable of doing it!
npow I have 'given in' and am really looking for ward to it - my house will probably be cleaner than it has ever been since I moved in 19 years ago!

Sorry I misssed it. Grandtwins have been going to Camp Awesome (vacation Bible school) at our church and sleeping over at our house for the week. Haven't spend much time on the computer.

Update on the cleaner: She came Tuesday about 915 and left at 330! And came back yesterday for two hours because she had not had time to do the small bath!
All for $66.00 (normally %75 but I am a regular so I get a discount!) I doubt that my house has ever been so clean given my attitude towards cleaning!
Of course that is just the first time- after this it will be about 2 -3 hours every 2 weeks.
