mole plants anyone?

Shelton, WA

I am looking for something that my mother called a mole plant. The plant deters moles from your yard and they produce seeds in the late summer. Help anyone?

I have lots of euphorbia lathyris. This is a biennial plant.

In the first year they look like little trees with a single stem a "needles" which radiate from the stem. [The 1st image badseed attached is a first year plant.]
In the second year they look like large aliens with "needles" radiating from the side stems. In the late summer they form seed pods (about the size and shape of a pea) which explode (with a loud noise) and release seeds. [The 2nd image badseed attached is a 2nd year plant.]

Let me know how many you want.

Would you happen to have any interesting plant that you may be willing to trade?

My mom grows this one every year. They used to come up all over the place, but I don't recall too many this year. If this is what you want, I can can look to see how many she has and if there are any small ones. I've never tried to transplant them myself so I don't know how well they do transplanting them or I can wait for some seeds.

I found what it is called thanks to one of you. The mole plant or CAPER SPURGE is what I am looking for. Does anyone have one for trade or to buy?

Athens, OH

Caper spurge = euphorbia lathyris.

I have lots. What would you like to trade?
