Nightblooming cacti doing it's thing again.

Floresville, TX(Zone 9a)

I posted a picture of this last year in one of the other forums... I love it and this is the 2nd set of blooms this year so far. For size reference, I need I use an 8 foot ladder to cover this when it gets cold. Each flower is around 5-6 inches across. Just thought I'd share.

Wow! Definately worth protecting from the cold! Do the blooms on it have the wonderful scent like the NB cereus?

Nope, it's scentless:-(

This was the April blooming, which is the earliest date that it's ever had flowers, probably because there was really no winter.

INdigoez...How old is your plant? ...to bloom like that it has to have been around a long time. What a beauty!

It's pretty fast growing, came from home depot 6 years ago, and it was about 2 feet tall when I planted it. There were only the two tall stems then, the others have come out since.

Unbelievable!!! I never heard of a Cereus maturing so fast, usually it takes years. What kind of Cereus is it? did it come with a name?
Here is a link to play with :)
