I ain't killed em yet! Am I doing this right?

Well I got my cuttings, oh let me see, about 14 days ago from the Pimpette, I plopped them in water for a few days and proceeded/decided to plant them all last weekend......Nothing seems to have died yet! I have of course no idea if they have rooted or not, but would a week in soil not be enough to tell me if they are gonna live or not?? They seem to be OK, not wilted, not hanging, nor looking miserable. Am I doing this right?
I planted in cacti mix with a little orchid mix, I bought nice shallow Terra Cotta pots and used the bamboo canes to support them, I have sprayed with messenger a few times and just received my DynaGrow, so now I can use good fertilizer. So far so good? We finally have good weather again, so they are getting plenty of sunshine! I feel the soil to make sure it does not dry out too much. So, any ideas here? Is this going to actually work?

Sounds good.

Don't use any FERTilizer until you see positive new growth...then use half strength. Remember these are babies....

You seem to have this all down pat....good for YOU!

You grow good Becky!

Yes, if they look good...you are doing OK. I wouldn't spray any new cutting or just rooting plant with Messenger however. Save that stuff for the bigger well growing things.
It takes a while for roots to get going so be patient.

I root mine in soil and so far so good (fingers crossed)
They look happy though so my guess is all is well :)

When I checked on Messenger..."they" advised to spray the plant 4 days before taking a cutting....and on established cuttings. Without a well formed root system, the plant may go into overload...just my guess.
