Hibiscus sale. 8th July. Houston

Maybe some of you living in the Houston area would be interesting in a hibiscus sale on next Saturday, July 8.
Barry Schlueter is one of the best hybridizers and he has very beautiful varieties.

Hmmm...kind of a long drive, but then there's Amtrak...besides, DH's been working hard...ya know, he could use a break and a weekend in Houston that just happens to include a stop at a the nursery...

Anybody else going?... I need to know if they will ship small plants of any of these. I can't find an email address.

oooohh Carlos... only a 20 minute drive for me.... I think I'll go.... hmmmm, wonder how much $$ I should bring?? ... this could be danderous.. the images at his sight are awesome... and I only live about 20 miles north of his location... spent many a year growing up going to the NASA Space Center near his place.... and I NEVER knew he was hiding back there.... HA!!

I'll let you know, I'm not sure what I'm going to do- DH is up for the trip, but I'd forgotten that I have to go to Atlanta for a conference the next week, so scheduling might be bad, but I'll let you know in the next day or so.

Sandy, not my choice either but did you know these browns are special? Lookie here: and yours looks like a double brown (a twofer in the "good fortune" dept, lol)
