Rumaging thru files this morning, I found a piece I printed out in 2003 from the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens website. It is written by Lois Duffy...I thought some exerpts might be interesting to share. I have asked the Gardens if it is still on their site (I can't find it) and also written to Lois for permission to reprint it:
YELLOW LEAVES
Roots too cold
soil to wet (or too dry)
too much sun
nitrogen deficiency
anaemia - soil mix too acid or too alkaline
PLANT DROPPING FLOWER BUDS
excessive heat
lack of himidity
soil too dry
hold or cold draft
I am posting this but not taking any credit for any original thought here.
