Another Hoya

Okay, now I know I've been bitten by the Hoya bug! This baby came home with me today:

That is a very nice variegated hoya compacta (I think?)
Or Hindu rope is another name for it :)
I have this and love it to death. I also have the green one

Thank, Chris. I have an all green one too, and love it. I'm hoping I can see some flowers on that one soon, but if not, I'll keep plugging away until I do!

Actually sorry Indian rope (I always do that!)
I would say you have a good chance..they are carnosa (I think) and mine bloom frequently as long as they get enough light :) I will try to get a picture next time :)

Hindu rope is also a common name for it, other common names are Krinkle Kurl and Angel Rope.
The compacta 'variegata' as shown in this thread also goes by the cultivar name of Regalis.
Not one of the fastest growers and when small a bit sensitive to over and underwatering so consistent soil moisture is recommended.

I have hoya krinkle and it seems very different..much less curved more like it was put in the drier too long (LOL)
Thanks for the info Milan. I got mine before I knew anything about hoyas. I found it at a nursery that told me it was a succulent and not to water it much! I nearly killed the poor fella but it has made a remarkable comeback with a little TLC :)
I changed my tactics with it pretty quickly after coming to this board!

Chris, you most likely are talking about 'Krinkle 8' which is a carnosa cultivar with distinctive dimples in the leaves.
