As you all know ..I wanted a new plant stand..well here it is!

I wanted one a little prettier since people will see it from the hall :)
I think this fits the bill
I am also going to hang some rebar outside to put up some hanging baskets.

Great stand Lorry ! Looks really tall. elegant. Our ceilings are so low in a trailer.
It doesn't reach the top of the window..so it isnt' as tall as it looks
It is just that everyone on the top is on trellises :)

LOL well the AVs are on just about every other shelf :) I am holding this one for the hoyas and philos :) but it is filling up fast! I am moving things around as we speak :)

Super nice plant stand, Lorry! I've developed that hoya/philo fever, too! LOL Do you have the Black Cardinal philo? I've got a couple babies I'm trying to get off to a good start. If they take off, I'd be happy to share with you.

I've got the Velvet-Leaf philo that I could share with you, too, if you don't have it. Knowing you, you've got both of those and many times more than I do! LOL

I think all Big Lots have diffrent items . Just keep checking back Lauri . Check your Kmart, Wall-Mart, Sam's, Target, lowes, Home Depot ...
I would check to see if mine had more but the shipping would be outrageous! It is a metal and very heavy :) Too bad yours didn't have them :( Biglots can be a crap shoot shoot sometimes but it is worth a trip once in a while.
Did you check the furniture section? This was actually being sold as part of a complete bedroom package
Yup I have black cardinal (very tiny but healthy) and I rescued a velvet leaf from our local lowes :)
I also have a lot of syngoniums...which are philo relatives. I would be happy to send you some if you would like :)

I love the stand. I have been looking for one as well. My problem is, the ones that catch my eye are 300.00 or more. There was actually a nice stand on sale at Supper Fresh last week. With a coupon it was only 19.00. I missed it.
Guess I with make some trips to Ikea and Wall Mart this week and check things out.
First I have to clean the plant room. UGH!

BTW, I saw that other stand you were looking for (the 3 tiered green one) at IGS, under "new items." I noticed it when I ordered the capillary matting last week, but didn't remember at the time who had been looking, sorry.... But I think this one is much prettier for your location!

Yup all the shelves are glass :) Which I really liked...it lets the light shine through :)

Super Fresh is a grocery store that has a garden center. I really like the stand. My hunt is on!
IGS = Indoor Gardening Supplies... I found the link on a recent thread about where to find capillary matting, I think... I'm not at my home computer now, so don't have the bookmark, will try to check for it later. Maybe it's in the sticky? I placed an order last week and got it in 3 days!
