It needs help!

Chesapeake, VA(Zone 7b)

Bought this bulb a WM and is said Gloxinia. Really pretty picture of deep purple and white flowers like velvet. I potted up and it started growing really nice. I read up a little on here and thought it needed to be treated like AV's. Well, it is not doing so good now. It looks like its sun burned. I had it in the kitchen where it got morning sun and bright indirect light in afternoon. I watered once a week from the bottom. I moved it where I keep all my AV's now. It was dry so i waterd it again. maybe i need to water it more often? Any advice would be greatful. I'd love to see it bloom.
Thank you
Dawn

Dawn,

I'm not a gloxina grower but I'm sure some experts will be stepping up to answer your questions soon :) Poor little things sure do look sad, don't they?

Hope your help comes soon...

well I grow mine very dry.... (I grow everything dry) - less frequent watering than AVs, and more light.
