I have several plants that are my favorites and I thought I would share them with you guys so you could enjoy them too. The first one is EverLove and is the most beautiful AV that I have ever seen. It has such a deep, dark, rich color that is so awesome. It really is a one of a kind. I've been growing it since it was tiny. I got it at Bluebird's.

And this is Geisha Girl sitting in a little watering can. She is sitting on a few pieces of the grid that we use. I have found so many uses for it.

And the last couple are not in the AV family but are things that I just wanted to share with you. This is my bloodleaf banana tree that Nan sent me. It is the one on the right. It will need a bigger pot but this was all I had.

And look at my Kafir Lily. I go out and check on it every few minutes. LOL I've never had anything like this bloom. I am so excited.

My Geisha Girl has never bloomed but I am going to give her some Optimara AV plant food today and see if that helps any. I just thought she was cute sitting in the little watering can.

I grew so many Geisha Girls and gave them all away so I have never seen them bloom. Bought the leaves last with a bunch others. Be nic to see her bloom !

How much plant food to you give your plants Jesse ? and how often ?
I have not given them any in a couple of months so I'm sure they are starving. I would love to feed them each time I water, if I could remember to. I sure hope that I can get Geisha Girl to bloom.

Oh yes, Allison, I haven't forgotten! I hope it grows up to be half as pretty as Jesse's! If the box gets here before we leave (mail has been coming noonish lately, so we'll try to wait until it comes), I might just put it into the car along with my leaf cups and container of newly sterilized dirt so they don't have to wait until Monday night to get some attention.
Jesse, I'm sorry.... I wasn't thinking clearly when I posted, didn't mean to be "hinting," just wanted to explain why I kept going gaga whenever anybody posted a pretty purple bloom! I re-read my post and thought, wow, could I have sounded any more blatent?! Unintentional, I swear! Purple really is my favorite color... I'm wearing a purple polo shirt right now. :-)
That is okay critter. I did not take it in a bad way. In fact, it made me want to share mine with you. Not because you were hinting, but because you seem to really like the color. I must admit, it is an awesome color. So don't worry, I did not think bad of you in any way at all. You are such a sweet peep and I would never think of you in a bad way. :)

I agree with you on that critter. I have been working with my plants and it helps so much. If I did not have them I would be in really bad shape. They sure do help a lot.

I would go absolutely mad if I did not have my plants. I'm a homebody of sorts. I don't like to go out much so I have to do something. So my plants are a major part of my life. I need them as much as they need me.
