Last summer we had to have a big and I mean big walnut tree cut down in our backyard. We are left with this spot where grass will not grow. I would appreciate any input as to what we might do here. I am leaning toward a raised bed with some grasses in it, my DH thinks topsoil and grass seed might be the way to go. There is a slight hill from the tree roots and I think topsoil would just add more hill. Please help with any suggestions or opinions. Thanks in advance.
