Here's a shot of all of them after I got the leaves put down. (Everyone just ignore my huge mess. I didn't take time to clean it up before I took pictures.)

whoa, what a bingo!! they look great and looks like fun!

Oh yes, I got the book! Got so wrapped up in sharing the plant pictures I forgot all about it! I haven't had time to read it yet, but I've skimmed and it is FULL of super information!
You hadn't sent me the Snow Leopard before. I think it was on my list, actually. It's a beauty, so if it wasn't it should have been! I've looked at all these a hundred times a day. LOL You're so sweet to send all these wonderful plants to me, Allison! Thank you so much!

How is Daniel ? So happy you have that Russian Snow Leopard it's one of my favrites you will love how it grows and flowers !

Hmmm, I didn't post a picture of Daniel, did I? Wonder where it went... I thought I had a picture of all the plants ready to post... Well, Daniel is fine and even has a bud! I think there are actually two buds, but one is still so tiny I won't commit to calling it a bud just yet. I'm so excited to see it bloom!

Wonderful box!! Congratulations!

I'm hoping my Bingo box from Allison will arrive tomorrow, but probably won't be able to post photos for a few days... just hoping they arrive before I leave for Pittsburgh so I can water as necessary, pot up leaves, etc. Had to ask DH to drag a new bag of Pro Mix from the garage down to my potting bench so I can mix up another batch of AV potting mix!

I finally found a good source for those 3 oz plastic cups -- at CVS, store brand!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Cool CVS ! Where do you buy your Pro-Mix ?
Can't wait for you to get your box. Hope you like everything !

BINGO!!!

Although I've found Pro Mix once or twice at HD or Lowe's, it seems to be a briefly seasonal item there. However, my favorite local garden store almost always has the big bales in stock!

Wow what an awesome box of goodies!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I use to buy the pro=mix whole sale all the time . Just too hard for me to get it now. But I do like it. But sense I mostly grow and give them away I'm not going to pay to ship it.

Amy did your Russian Snow Leopard bloom ?? Does anyone have one blooming !

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I had two plantlets in my pot, Allison... I've separated them, and they're doing fine, but no blooms yet. It'll be interesting to see if we get any gorgeous sports like the one you had!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I can't wait to see them grow and bloom for you Jill ! I gave so many away sure would be fun to see some blooming !
I will see if Bonnie has a camera to take the picture of the big one she bought from me ! I sure hope she shows it too !

Nevada, MO(Zone 6a)

I do! The bloom just opened two days ago and it's beautiful. Thank you. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow.

What a great bingo gift from Allison. What a nice treat getting a shipment of av's and streps.

Critter - I'll have to look at CVS for the 3 oz plastic cups. Do they sell them in the dept. for bathroom supplies?
I love CVS.

Also, I cannot find promix at HD by me. they have the worst garden dept. at my HD.

We also get 3 oz. dixie or solo cups at Wal-Mart and Kash and Karry Grocery stores. My hubby thinks he gets them by the paper plates and cups, and yes I have heard they can be by the bathroom cups.
Do you have a Lowes ? Most HD and Lowes sell a lot of the Potting needs only Seasonal and when Holiday items come out they take a back row. You can sometimes ask them to order it for you too.
I fount that I also like Miracle Potting Soil, African violet mixes, my favorite Bayer Three-in-one all of these mixed well with 50 percent Perlite and water to make slightly moist. I used Pro-Mix forever but when I could not find it and no longer wanted to pay the cost of shipping it ( and I use to use lots of it) I tried these other choises and each one work just as well as the other for me !

Our CVS puts the 3 oz cups with the other cups and paper goods... but ask if you don't see them... they're a store brand, so they should carry them at all CVS stores (?).

My favorite local garden center carries Pro-Mix year round, but HD and Lowe's have it in stock only for a couple weeks in spring... they get a pallet in, and when it's gone, it's gone. As Allison said, any good quality potting mix should work, although I have read that you shouldn't try one that uses coir (coconut fiber) in place of peat moss (salt & pH issues).
