Nice colour on that neoebudica!

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

is is neoenudica (dont' tell the pimpette I could not read her writing! or samoensis?
or are they the same plant? Color me confused!
But I agree..I am blown away with the color of this flower..>I have a new favorite!

Trelleborg, Sweden

It is spelled neoebudica and some say samoensis is the same, but I leave that up to the more knowledgeble to determine that. I have both and they differ in the leaves, but then that is not all that important when it comes to IDing hoyas. I have buds in my samoensis so I guess soon I'll at least find out what that one looks like!

Ok so will stick with neoebudica. I guess pimpette thinks they are the same :) I won this on her ebay auction :) and it was samoensis..so that is why the mass confusion :)
but sure to show us photos when they open Christina!

Oh the samoensis/neoebudica is so pretty. Very pretty picture Lorry. Nice haul.. :)

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

I am told...

...H. neoebudica is the species from Vanuatu (a group of islands in the Pacific) and H. samoensis is the same hoya but from Samoa. Lessee.... H. samoensis is IML 192, at least mine is. H. neoebudica...gotta look it up. I am really bad about the IML Numbers and want to put them on all my plants.

Hehe Kitty..it sure is!

Hehe and thanks for clearing that up Carol :) I am so easily confused :)

Thanks everyone but the Pimpette needs to take the credit on this bloom :) I just hope I can keep it this happy
