I got my order of cuttings and plants from the pimpette.
I had to share this one with you
MY FIRST FLOWER (wee except for my carnosa)
So the Pimpette has me extra special excited :) and it is peach my favorite color
this is Meo Ebudica
Oh MY GOD...isn't it perfect! and it has 2 more penducles which have not opened yet!!!!!!!
The Pimpette outdid herself!
Nice score, Lorry!!! BEAUTIFUL plants!
Thanks kabob..now my only wish is that I can keep them this beautiful! I sure hope so!
Maybe with the worm poop stuff (laugh)
Nice colour on that neoebudica!
Christina
is is neoenudica (dont' tell the pimpette I could not read her writing! or samoensis?
or are they the same plant? Color me confused!
But I agree..I am blown away with the color of this flower..>I have a new favorite!
It is spelled neoebudica and some say samoensis is the same, but I leave that up to the more knowledgeble to determine that. I have both and they differ in the leaves, but then that is not all that important when it comes to IDing hoyas. I have buds in my samoensis so I guess soon I'll at least find out what that one looks like!
Christina
Ok so will stick with neoebudica. I guess pimpette thinks they are the same :) I won this on her ebay auction :) and it was samoensis..so that is why the mass confusion :)
but sure to show us photos when they open Christina!
OHH Lorry! How stunning! Im so jealous!! Beautiful blooms!!
Isn't it something! I am still mooning over it! And I stole it for the price I got it for!
Oh LORRY!! My gooosh that peach flower is AWESOME! wow!
That ol Pimpette -- she sure can grow 'em, huh??
GOOD SCORE on your part!
B
LOL she certainly does!
Oooooooh, Lorry I am soooooo jealous! What glorious plants - beautiful blooms.
Lorry, is that the maniacal laughter of a hoya addict I hear all the way from Florida????
;-)
Ann
Oh the samoensis/neoebudica is so pretty. Very pretty picture Lorry. Nice haul.. :)
I am told...
...H. neoebudica is the species from Vanuatu (a group of islands in the Pacific) and H. samoensis is the same hoya but from Samoa. Lessee.... H. samoensis is IML 192, at least mine is. H. neoebudica...gotta look it up. I am really bad about the IML Numbers and want to put them on all my plants.
Hehe Kitty..it sure is!
Hehe and thanks for clearing that up Carol :) I am so easily confused :)
Thanks everyone but the Pimpette needs to take the credit on this bloom :) I just hope I can keep it this happy
