Glossary of Terms for Flowering Plants

Chowchilla, CA(Zone 10a)

I just found this and thought it might be useful. It is from Australian Biological Resources Study.

Just click on any of the letters underneath the word INDEX.

Thanks Ann! That link is great! Especially for someone who doesn't speak English as first language. I hate it when I don't know the correct term. I'll visit that site often and hopefully learn something!

At the risk of sounding snotting (I meant to write snooty)...I think this site should be a sticky thread....

MILAN...are you there?

There are so many terms that are only applicable to flowers/plants...i.e. hoyas...and, lord knows, I need to learn them too...in spades. To have a link to look up words/terms we dont understand is wonderful..

clap clap clap....

I hope this link is put up .... actually, it would benefit all of DG.

Thanks Ann.

Hi, all.
Milan has kindly attached this link to the sticky thread http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/471942/ at the top of the forum.
It is located in the section titled "Others not directly related to Hoyas:"
It is the link titled Flora of Australia Flowering Plant Glossary
