I had forgotten I had taken these pictures

when I was at the house at Filoli, a historic garden in Woodside, California with Dr. Don and his wife Pam.

It was labeled Begonia Maculata. Perfect.

Unfortunately, I didn't look for the tag on this beauty. Perfectly grown!

I was meant to be able to grow plants like this, what happened???

That first one isn't maculata but it is still a beauty. Maculata has big "polka dots". Here is a picture of one at the Miami show and was around 5 foot tall.

Those are beautiful. I have a couple that look similar that are small, and I sure hope they grow up to be that pretty.

What happened? a little thing called life.

Every one of those photos is stunning. I don't grow begonia, I kill them instead. But I have a friend who does a smashing job...

OK, stop posting that picture Dale!
I am going out to replace my hanging pots, those are just too gorgeous so I think I will try something like with some of my begonias.
