What types of things would you be interested in? I have some new packs of tomato seeds, basil seeds and can start you some mints. I grow mostly herbs. I know this isn't the seed forum, but I do have some flower seeds ... mostly fragrant.
Thanks ... Elaine

Hi Elaine,
I would love some starts of mint. How many Crownvetch do you want? Email me and let me know.

Hi Jane
Actually, I don't have a clue how many I need! :-) When I saw it was a ground cover, I looked it up and noticed where it is used on the side of roads to stop errosion. I was wondering if it would work to plant along the side of my sidewalk to keep it from washing? Do you know if this would work? Where is yours growing? I'd love a bit more info. :-) It sounds sooo very pretty. I know you probably think these questions are strange, but I'm blind so can't view pics and would apreciate you describing how and where you use yours. Thanks so very much.

Hugs&blessings ... Elaine

Oh, I have choc mint and spearmint ... and can probably get you some peppermint and maybe some apple mint also. :-)

Hi Elain,
All your mint plants sound wonderful. I can only imagine how good they smell.
Yes I think the crownvetch would work well along your sidewalk. Mine is on a little slope that I have on one side of my deck. The ground was unlevel here when they built the deck and one side ended up with a slope, kinda like a little drop off. We have that old clay dirt and it's really hard to get anything to grow, but the Crownvetch has done wonderful.
The Crownvetch works great to keep it from washing and squeezes out the weeds. It also stays at one height so mowing is not necessary. If it should spread to a area you don't want it to grow...simple clip or mow it back or do like I do and clip some for starts to later sell or trade.
The best part is all the masses of flowers it produces all year all the way up until it frost. Then the next year it comes back better and thicker than ever.
It also withstands being stomped and trampled on. This is a good factor if you have children or dogs.
Hope I have helped some.
Let me know how many you want.
