Good picture... Datura inoxia will have a yellowish/creamy flower bud with a flat-top appearance (see below).

Datura wrightii has a more tapered bud with a grey to purple coloration.

Just a question- I planted seeds that were sold as Datura Inoxia and they have buds on them now- the one that bloomed the other night was a double w/ yellow out and white in- is this inoxia also?
