The official high was 104 today in the Tri-Cities with only 14% humidity. It was too hot to breath outside today. Thank Heaven for AC. My peas are suffering a tragic demise but I sure enjoyed them while they lasted (my dog loves them as much as me). No one else in my family but the dog likes them so I had them all to myself. So, the peas are done but the peppers and tomatos love the heat. I need to water them again tonight after it cools down a little more...

It's so funny you say that. My parents live in Shelton and he loves to tell me how much hotter it is there than here because they "have humidity". I'm thinking drive on over and see how you like it! Actually they do come to visit and he'll sit outside in the super hot weather just to prove how much "cooler" it is w/o the humidity. I think he's nuts!!
